We're pregnant!!

Yesterday, we found out we were pregnant with our fourth little baby! I could not be more excited. We took out my IUD on June 13th, and low and behold yet again we find out just how fertile we are. We thought it would take a couple of months since it has been so long since our last, and I am older. Didn't really know what to expect. Blake is suppose to leave for Quatar any day now. So this should be interesting. Sydney will be 4 tomorrow, and I just could not wait any longer. She will be nearly 5 when this baby comes along, and that is just crazy! We plan to keep our little secret for as long as possible, so it was hard yesterday when we went to the parade with some friends to not say anything. Today is Sydney's birthday party at the Zoo, I hope I can keep it under wraps again. Exciting news like this is really hard to keep quiet.
I am now 8 1/2 weeks along, and have been experiencing the full swing of the 1st trimester....how fun!!! I told my self going into this pregnancy I was going to enjoy every last bit of it because it will more then likely be my last. But dang it, this part is soo hard to find joy in. I am almost positive at this point that it is a girl, just for the soul being that I was never really sick with my boy, just very tired. It has been proven now twice, that when I am sick I am in for a girl. Though I will have to say that it has not been as bad as I remember my pregnancy with Sydney was.  As of right now, I have been experiencing most of my sickness in the evening, and I have been sick with the cold, and the drainage from my nose makes me horribly nauseous.  This growing a baby business sure is a lot of work, but the rewards are just too amazing for me to put into words. I love it!!

I am now 14 weeks,
and I am so ready to be done with the sick part, and enjoy the 2nd trimester. This last week was probably one of my worst. I just really have a queazy stomach at this point, and all I really want to do is enjoy my food, with out feeling like I've got to puke after. The other night I thought I may have felt a little flutter....but it could also be my indigestion, or wishful thinking. I am really excited for the moment to feel the little one. I have pretty much come to the conclusion that this one is a girl, considering all my sickness, and that is what all the wives tales and chinese calendars say.  I am a believer of the silly wives tales. We are still waiting on insurance to kick in....biggest headache of our life right now...and there are a lot at this point. It will be fun to finally hear the heart beat and see our cute little miracle. I have started to poke out quite a bit, and my pants are becoming increasingly tighter despite all my hrs at the gym. Here is my belly photo!

15 weeks and I finally got into the dr. We got to see our sweet little angel today, what a joy!!! We found out that we are having another girl! We're excited. We told the kids the news at the dinner table and Grant burst into tears. Poor guy just wanted a brother. So we told him we'd get a boy dog when the time was right..I think we should settle on a lizard or frog, something with a short life span that doesn't require a lot of work, but Blake is set on a dog *sigh*.

Ainsley Sophia due March 3rd. Blake doesn't love the name Sophia...he'll come around.
I am 20 weeks now, and yesterday we had the privilege of seeing our sweet little angel through ultrasound again. It is confirmed that she is a girl once more. I have been feeling her move for a couple weeks now, but the last week or so it has been slightly more frequent and easier to notice. The ultrasound Technician told us yesterday that she was breach, which I could tell already because of where she was kicking. It has felt like she is using my bladder as her trampoline! It is still really early, and it is likely she could turn, the dr.s are not worried....however I am. I really don't want to go through a c-section again, I just have a feeling things won't go the way I am hoping. Pessimistic????probably. Time will tell.  I told Blake last night I think she is going to have dark hair. It is so hard to imagine what life will be like with her, and to even think about what she looks like, it is hard. I am so excited to meet her!
We went up to the American fork Canyon and took some family/pregnancy pictures. I figured do it now while I'm still slightly cute, in a couple months I will be a huge bloated cow and it won't be that attractive.
Here is me at 20 wks.

26 weeks, I am on the count down. Looking pretty big, and getting very uncomfortable. I have developed a pregnancy related heart murmur. It is no fun, because my heart beats fast, and I feel like I'm having a panic attack. I've never had this with any of the other pregnancies so this is all new to me. The Dr. does say that it should go away after the pregnancy is over, and I'm excited for that because it is most unpleasant. Baby is actually measuring a week smaller, I am measuring 5 weeks ahead of my due date.....i've never gained more weight with any of my other pregnancies than I have with this one. I have been averaging about 10lbs every appt.

I have made it to 33 weeks now, and I have to say things are getting a lot more uncomfortable. We went to visit my parents for christmas and while we were there we girls went and got pedicures. After we were done, we went to Walmart to grab a few items and SOMEONE had the bright idea to go in there with just the flip flops the salon gives you, which are very very slippery to walk in especially when it rains.  Needless to say, I pretty much did the splits and totally hurt my left hip. So now, not only does my right hip hurt, but my left also. Makes for very very uncomfortable nights. I have been waking up at 4am every morning and not being able to go back to sleep for about and 1hr and 1/2. I'm sure I will miss my sleep when the baby comes, but I think it will be much better then the sleep I am getting now. The kids are so very excited for miss Ainsley to come, we took the kiddos to pick out some clothes for her, and it was so fun to see them all completely ecstatic about who gets to dress her, or pick the clothes for the day. Sydney has been practicing her diaper changing skills on her new doll she got for christmas. So cute! We are still waiting to hear more about where Blake's security clearance is at. We have no gotten in contact with a Congressman and we are hopeful something will come of it. So for the time being, we are still staying with Blake's parents....i'm sure they're so ready for us to be gone...I know I am. Luckily for us, we all get along pretty well. I did some organizing this past week to get ready for her to come here and it looks much nicer and feels a little better to feel a little more clean. I had my last dr. appt. on my birthday (jan.8) and I only gained 2 LBS!!!!!! YAY!! And it appears she has caught up with her due date. Here is me at 33 weeks!

Well I'm at 38 weeks now, and can I just say how excited I am to see the light at the end of the tunnel. If she doesn't come on her own with in the next week I will be getting induced on Thursday the 29th of February. My mom keeps trying to get her to come on her birthday the 27th but I guess we'll see what her plans are. I had my dr. appt today and I am dilated to a 2 and 70% effaced, I gained like 5lbs this last week putting me at 186 (seriously!!!!!!!?), which I find amusing since I've been exercising so much more this week to get this little girl out.  I have been progressing about a 1/2 cm every week for the last 2 weeks. Contractions are picking up a little more often, maybe that is due to my walking about 2 1/2 miles a day and going to Zumba...who knows. It is more painful, and I am extremely tired, and can't sleep. Happy side of it all, she has dropped which has made it easier for me to breath a bit better!!! So the big news since I've blogged last.....Blake's security clearance has finally been adjudicated!! Which means he may be leaving the beginning of March or April by himself to GA, I will stay here and let the kiddos finish out the school yr......It's going to be a rough 2 or 3 months on my own with 4 monsters, luckily i'll have Blake's parents here to help.  We are so excited to finally meet our little angel, and for the new adventures that await us this coming spring!!
Look how huge I am!!! This shirt is actually suppose to be a shirt dress......crazy!!!!!  I will be sure to post a picture of just the belly with no shirt because it looks even more big!! It actually looks painfully huge!

Baby has come!!! She came at 39 weeks by induction. I will make a new post about it all. Our journey is over though!!

Miss Ainsley has arrived!

Our sweet little miss has finally graced us with her presence and we could not be more happy! Her and I's journey was a fun and exciting one!
On Tuesday February 26th 2013 I went in for my regular Dr.s appt. and the dr said nothing had changed as far as me dialating any further, he did however say that my blood pressure was a little too high for his comfort zone and suggested we head on over to the hospital to be induced. He was concerned about pre-clampsia. So....that is what we did! We were excited and scrambled back home (not before going to chic-fil-a to get Grant's coat he had left there and a delicious milk shake) to get things that we would need for the hospital, and find someone to watch Sydney. When we finally got back to the hospital it was about 1pm and they didn't waste any time getting me started (which I was still in shock that today was going to be the day we would finally meet her). I had been having contractions the past 2 nights before she came, so when they got me started on petocin, and then took me off while we waited for my epidural (which I might add AMAZING!!!!) my contractions continued, I was all on my own. They broke my water, and I went from a 4 to a 7 in 45 min. and a 7 to a 10 in 30 min. Fastest delivery ever, and for me it was the best delivery because there was no pain, I didn't even know when I had to push! It was great! Now.....for the sweet little miss, it was not so easy. Soon after my water had broke I believe... I think I had heard/felt a crack and a sharp pain in the nether regions, come to find out our little miss broke her collar bone and the nurse washing her up detected it. She also had some pretty severe bruising in her face which made her look like she wasn't getting enough air, when in fact she was. Her red blood cell count was considerably high also which gave her a really red look, and later caused her to be on the billy lights for 3 days and 4 days of lab work and needles. It was a really rough 1st week into this strange new world for her, I'm just so happy to be her mom and that I was able to love on her and maybe just maybe make it a little easier for her. So all this time I complained about how tough this pregnancy was....I'm sure she had just as a rough time coming into this world.

So that is our story, and we are so happy that she is finally here and 2 weeks later we can all relax and just enjoy each other. Olivia, Grant, and Sydney are just smitten with her....especially Grant. I can't get over how much he adores her, especially since he found out she was a girl he was so upset about it. I love it!!! Sydney is such a good little helper and is trying CONSTANTLY to "help". Olivia loves her to pieces also!

Here are the photos of my beautiful little sweet heart whom we just can't get enough of! Our family is complete with her in our lives!!

Getting ready to begin! The anticipation is killing me!

I don't remember if I was pretending or if those contractions were real....?

Definitely after I got my epidural....I was in a  happy place!!!

Dr. Watabe running from his office to the hospital where I was waiting at 10cm for him!

And she's here 7lbs. 13 oz, 201/2 inches long!! My biggest baby.....by 3 oz.

Dr. Watabe and my babe!

Finally a break. Relaxing under the heater.

Love at first sight. She is just the sweetest thing ever!

The kiddos got to watch her take a bath.

Proud parents. You can see just how blonde her hair is in this photo! Adorable! Excited to have another blondie!

First family photo

I love all the wrinkles on these little feet.

Trying to find something....in the middle of the night. We were pretty tired.

I just love this picture of my beautiful girls

Christmas 2012

This year we got to go to Idaho to spend Christmas with my family, and we had a very enjoyable trip. Played lots and lots of card games, had some good eats, and enjoyed some good company. We took the kids sledding a couple of times and the kids got some much needed play time with their cousins.

We opened presents with Grandma and Grandpa Thorne before we left for Idaho.

This kid can't get enough legos!

Mom and Dad got some cool new calendars made by the kids.

Opening christmas jammies. This year I decided to put everyone's jammies in one big box with a christmas movie (Santa Paws) and popcorn and some candy for a family movie night! I really liked how it worked out, we will be doing it again!

Cutest darn kids I know!

Santa puked presents all over in here! Our kids lucked out this year.

Tired but excited kiddos. Christmas morning, the excitement is killing them!

Grant always gives the best reactions to opening presents....makes for a happy parent.

Olivia getting what she has been asking for!

What a good Grandpa the kiddos have!

 A little cold?

That looks pretty cold.

Going for a ride on the fat cat, she had fun!

Blake and his fancy get up!

Grant wiping it. Nose dive!

Fun with cousins!!

Holding on.....they caught some pretty good speed on that one!

Our snow fort....I think it turned out pretty good considering I was 8 months preggo, lifting all that snow and stuff was hard!
